About the role
- The Business Systems Analyst serves as a key liaison between Underwriting business teams and Technology, translating business needs into practical, scalable system and process solutions.

Responsibilities
- This role supports Commercial P&C underwriting capabilities, including submission intake, triage, clearance, referrals, appetite and rules support, pricing, quote/bind workflows, document handling, data needs, and operational efficiency.
- The role requires strong business analysis, systems thinking, stakeholder partnership, and hands-on delivery support.
- Partner with Product Owners, Underwriting, Operations, Actuarial, Data, and Technology teams to understand business goals, pain points, process needs, and system enhancement opportunities.
- Use workflow data, operational metrics, stakeholder feedback, and system usage insights to support prioritization and continuous improvement.
- Support backlog refinement by drafting and maintaining user stories with clear business context, acceptance criteria, workflow logic, dependencies, and test scenarios.
- Backlog and Delivery Support
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, QA analysts, data teams, designers, and delivery leads throughout design, build, test, and implementation.
Compensation
- The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year.
