Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and develop Implant/Sewing Manufacturing Technicians.
- Manage daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Manage overtime scheduling, including occasional weekend production support.
- Lead daily production meetings and communicate operational status to leadership.
- Develop action plans to improve manufacturing performance and capacity.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements.
- Lead and support investigations related to Nonconforming Reports (NCRs), deviations, and manufacturing issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support Special Manufacturing Authorization (SMA) builds for R&D, verification, validation, and clinical programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- The ideal candidate combines strong leadership and manufacturing execution skills with an engineering background.
- Occasional extended hours and weekend support may be required to meet critical production and clinical program milestones.
