About the role
- Participate in the planning and delivery of special events, festivals, and specialized programs held on weekends at the Suffolk County Farm and Education Center.
- Provide engaging educational opportunities for the general public during weekends, evenings and school holidays.
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of birthday parties and family programs.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 10-20 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to pass motor vehicle screen, including valid driver's license.
- Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.
- Ability to meet acceptable background check standards.

Nice to have
- Additional teaching experience related to academic areas listed above.
- Experience teaching subjects related to agriculture, animal sciences, natural sciences, human development, and consumer sciences.
- Experience working with at risk populations.
- Experience creating and implementing programming.
- Schedule: NONEXEMPT - Reg: 20 Hours

Compensation
- $18-20 per hour

- Support the execution of festivals and special events, and contribute to the day-to-day operations of Farm Education programs.
