About the role
- We are seeking a Senior RF Engineer / In-Building Wireless Consultant with at least 5 years of experience in operational public safety communications systems.
- Work with LMR radios, software, and programs
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and implement Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
- Support FirstNet and P25 public safety radio communications
- 3+ years of drive testing P25 radio systems and 4G/5G cellular systems
- 2+ years developing fleet maps, code plugs, and programming radios for public safety (desired)
- 3+ years designing, implementing, testing, monitoring, and managing interference in in-building wireless systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in public safety radio communications and DAS systems
- 3+ years of experience with interoperable radio communications
- 3+ years of experience integrating P25 and 4G/5G DAS systems infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience with P25 radio networks
- 3+ years of experience and knowledge of public safety communications and interoperability
- 3+ years of experience and knowledge of DAS operations
Compensation
- $11k-$15k
