Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reporting solutions, and production-ready datasets that enable self-service analytics.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and warehouse structures to improve performance, scalability, and data quality.
  • Partner with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to validate metrics, ensure data integrity, and support analytical initiatives.
  • Create and maintain well-documented data assets, including data models, pipeline documentation, and operational processes.
  • Support ad hoc data requests while continuously improving data architecture, reporting capabilities, and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
  • Experience with logging, monitoring, and instrumentation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or Mercurial.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Previous experience at Meta or another large technology company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field required.
