Project Management
About the role
- This is a contract engagement for a candidate who knows the region's permitting landscape well and can move projects through entitlement and permitting with minimal oversight.
- The engagement is structured around a light weekly time commitment with real potential for longevity as this could run through the full lifecycle of both projects, from entitlement through completion.
Responsibilities
- Our client is a boutique Los Angeles-based architecture studio, known for high-end single-family residential work, is seeking an experienced consultant to support two active projects in the Bay Area.
- a property development analysis to establish feasibility on each site (zoning, FAR, setbacks, entitlement constraints), followed by hands-on management of the permitting process itself: submittals, plan check responses, and direct coordination with local planning and building departments.
- This is an opportunity for a consultant who prefers autonomous, high-trust engagements to stay close to high-end residential work while advising a small, design-driven team.
Nice to have
- ~4 hours/week, plus a weekly consulting call
- Potential to run through the full project lifecycle (est.
- 10 months-1+ year)
