About the role

This role plays a critical part in maximizing equipment uptime, maintaining production goals, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in a heavy industrial environment.
Comply with all company, MSHA, and regulatory safety policies and procedures at all times.
Follow all environmental, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Conduct and document workplace inspections and report unsafe conditions.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
Install, maintain, and align mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, and rotating equipment.
Install and support pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Perform basic welding, torch cutting, and acetylene work as needed to support maintenance and repair activities.
Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Utilize precision tools (e.g., micrometers, dial indicators) to support accurate diagnostics and repairs.

3-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing, mining, or industrial environments.
Experience with welding, equipment alignment, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Experience reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
