About the role

  • We produce strap, stretch and protective packaging.
  • We also manufacture packaging tools and equipment used to apply the bulk packaging materials.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties to repair and test strapping tools to meet manufacturer specifications and prepare data for repair estimate.

Requirements

  • All fully trained repair technicians are required to produce enough repairs that will average out to 5 tools and 7 labor hours per day by the end of each month.

Nice to have

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 years of Mechanical / Technical troubleshooting / Assembly background preferred.
  • Must have good troubleshooting skills and have a mechanical aptitude to help in diagnosing and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, and battery-operated tooling and machine systems.

Skills

  • These commercial packaging products are used to pack, bundle, unitize, protect, and secure goods during warehousing and transit.
  • Most importantly, safety is the number one goal while performing any work in the facility.

Compensation

  • The hourly wage for this position ranges from $18.00 - $19.00 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location.
  • Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.
