About the role

  • Under general supervision, this position is responsible for possessing a high level of knowledge of installing and inspecting tires on tractors and trailers as well as mounting, dismounting and patching tires.
  • This position has the possibility to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends in addition to overtime; it requires full-time attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Keep sets of tires on hand and maintain trailer rack
  • Perform tire yard checks on equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep tire machines and supplied tools organized and free of defected
  • Organize and maintain daily tire inventory

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 2-3 years related experience and/or training
  • ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.
  • Basic tools are required to successfully perform this role.
  • Ability to fulfill physical requirements of the job including: lifting above 50 lbs, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
  • GED (Required), High School (Required)

Compensation

  • Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company's bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
