About the role
- You will start and end your day at Amazon Warehouse.
- Work Schedule: - Shifts typically include weekends and evenings. - The work schedule can be full-time or part-time, depending on the hiring needs.
Responsibilities
- Getting in and out of van every few minutes (up to 100 to 2000 times/day) to deliver up to 350 packages/day.
- Use handheld technology to manage the delivery process.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure the delivery vehicle is in good condition. Report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Drive safely, following GPS coordinated route, following all traffic laws
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old (or older depending on the region).
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and in different environments (e.g., urban, suburban).
- A background check and drug screening may be required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
- Ability to work efficiently and handle multiple deliveries within tight timeframes
