About the role
- Summary: As a member of Onbe's Senior Leadership Team, the Corporate Controller will be a strategic leader responsible for leading all aspects of our Accounting team.

Responsibilities
- Lead month/quarter/year-end close process and preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Effectively leading the accounting team by developing and coaching existing team members and hiring talent as needed.
- As the Controller, you will plan and advise all operational accounting functions, manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements, assess accounting and internal control systems, and guide departmental staff.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in corporate accounting with at least five years of management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field required.
- CPA required (active or inactive).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting policies, and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on team development.
- The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $200,000 to $230,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand. - Experience in professional services, financial services, or wealth management is strongly preferred.
- Great Plains experience or similar ERP preferred.
- ERP implementation experience preferred.
