About the role
- Works with various leaders across the organization to introduce Lean business/management practices to have a positive impact on the organization. - Coordinates and facilitates multidisciplinary teams/committees.
- Monitors outcomes related to real or potential events.
- Takes initiative to follow through on inquires, problem or requests. - Conduct operational assessments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and facilitate the design of value stream improvements. Research, analyze, identify opportunities, deliver recommendations, present the business case for change and generate workplans.
- Conduct readiness reviews to manage risk and resolve items impacting scope, schedule and/or quality.
- Conduct operational assessments. Review, analyze and deliver solutions and recommendations to improve clinical and business processes.
- Assists with the design, analysis, measurement, and implementation of changes.
- Performs statistical analysis on obtained research data to determine possible solutions to operating problems, feasibility estimates, and staffing requirements.
- Assist with establishing and facilitating cross-organizational project teams to drive implementation of transformational improvements to positively impact and achieve sustainable results in the areas of quality, service delivery, productivity, revenue, costs, patient and customer satisfaction.
- Communicates, collaborates, and serves as consultant/coach to operators, management, leadership, and outside professionals regarding all of SVH's Lean projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5 years Experience in management or in a process improvement / Lean / Six Sigma facilitation role required (experience can be combined to meet qualification).
- 20% In-state travel required.
- Workspace is a quiet and distraction-free allowing the ability to comply with all security and privacy standards.
Skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Visio. (Required proficiency)
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate is required.
Compensation
- Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.
