About the role
- In this role, you will be a business-facing expert responsible for governing, optimizing, and supporting Sales & Distribution (SD) processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
- This role acts as part of the SAP Implementation Team that acts as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and IT/SAP teams, ensuring that local Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes are standardized, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
- This position will play a key role in S/4HANA local/ business area (BA) implementations, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives, driving process excellence across sales order management, pricing, delivery, billing, and customer master data.
Responsibilities
- Own and standardize local end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes (order entry, delivery, billing, invoicing, returns).
- Drive harmonization of SD processes across regions, plants, and distribution centers.
- Support workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution validation for local and BA projects.
- Lead SD workstream for local activities in S/4HANA implementations and rollouts.
- Validate system changes to ensure alignment with business processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or 4+years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 2+ years of SAP SD/ Customer Service experience (preferably S/4HANA)
- Experience in SAP or SAP S/4HANA implementations or rollouts
- Proven experience in Order-to-Cash process optimization
- Proven leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Up to 50% travel required
- Knowledge of SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, and/or TM.
- 5+ years of SAP SD/ Customer Service experience (preferably S/4HANA)
- Experience in global or multi-site implementations.
- Familiarity with data migration, system integrations, testing strategies, and change management frameworks.
