  • As an Electrician Trainee at CMI, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with electricians who've spent years mastering industrial power systems - and their job is to teach you everything they know.
  • You'll put your hands on real equipment from day one: troubleshooting electrical systems, tackling mechanical repairs, and learning what it takes to keep a transformer plant running.

Responsibilities

  • Support general manufacturing maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, mechanical repairs, and equipment upkeep across the facility.
  • Support basic troubleshooting and repairs of electrical components under supervision.
  • Document training and progress as directed by supervisors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support maintenance and production needs.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents.

Requirements

  • Wear the required PPE, including eye and hearing protection, gloves, and safety toe footwear.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Nice to have

  • No prior experience required
  • however, 1 year+ experience in electrical work is a plus.

Skills

  • Effective communication, basic math skills, and teamwork.
  • Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards.
