About the role

This position is responsible for serving as the primary point of contact at the shipping and receiving window.
The Window Clerk checks in drivers, verifies appointment and shipment information, communicates with carriers, warehouse personnel, and office staff, and ensures accurate documentation for inbound and outbound freight.

Print, organize, and maintain shipping and receiving documents, pick lists, bills of lading, labels, and related paperwork.
Maintain accurate records and support compliance with company safety, security, and shipping procedures.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized window and office work area.

1 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, logistics, or customer service environment preferred.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse office environment.
Ability to communicate professionally with drivers, carriers, warehouse associates, supervisors, and office personnel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing paperwork and entering information.
Good math, reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Problem-solving skills and ability to follow up on shipment or paperwork discrepancies.
Ability to work overtime or adjusted schedules when business needs require.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred, but not required.
Vision (Near, Distance, Depth Perception); Sense or Touch
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety glasses, hearing protection in some cases.)
