- These projects will include New Product Introduction (NPI), Direct Material Productivity (DMP), resolving customer issues, and sustaining existing products.
- Reporting to the R&D/ Senior Technical Manager, this position will be expected to demonstrate leadership globally.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics or equivalent from an accredited university or college
- Experience with SiC and GaN devices-based power converter design
- Knowledge of IPC 9592B
- Knowledge of IPC 9592B - Requirements for Power Conversion Devices for the Computer and Telecommunications Industries
Nice to have
- Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics preferred
Skills
- Selecting AC/DC and DC/DC topologies based on product requirements
- Designing controllers for AC/DC and isolated DC/DC converters
- Optimizing designs for efficiency, density, and cost
- Creating schematics, bills of material, and PCB layouts
- Creating high density PCB layout with noise and EMI mitigation
- Introducing the product into high-volume production
- Leading projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Preparing invention disclosures to protect intellectual property
- Mentoring junior engineers
