About the role
- This role oversees produce merchandising, inventory management, food safety compliance, and department staff while maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-focused environment.
- Success in this role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively balance customer service with department efficiency.
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous retail grocery or produce department experience required.
- Knowledge of produce handling, merchandising, inventory management, and food safety practices.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motions are required throughout the workday.
- The Produce Manager must be able to safely operate department equipment and maintain compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
Nice to have
- associate degree or related coursework preferred.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Compensation
