About the role
- Your primary responsibility as a Production Underwriter is to meet or exceed the Commercial growth and profit goals for your assigned brokers.
- Vacancy: 1 Permanent Salary Range: $89,719 - $112,149/year * This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate results and use individual/collaborative judgment to maintain profit and growth.
Requirements
- Ability to travel overnight.
- 8+ years of experience in commercial Property/Casualty underwriting including senior-level experience in this area.
- University/College degree.
- Interested in a career in a company where collaboration and diversity of expertise are at the forefront?
- Negotiate Facultative Reinsurance and process as required, within assigned authority and maintain facultative closings and certificates.
- Assist with training and coaching of other staff as required.
- Strong product knowledge
- Valid driver's license. Ability to travel overnight.
- FCIP/CIP/CRM designations are an asset.
