About the role
- Provides direct and indirect counseling services to patients and their families using individual, group, and family therapy.
- Provides bio-psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, treatment planning and coordination with multidisciplinary team.
- Remains open to clinical and peer supervision process.
Responsibilities
- Develops an individualized treatment plan including measurable treatment goals related to patient's presenting problems.
- Performs case management responsibilities involved with patient care.
- Serves as team lead and operates as a resource to staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related human services field of study.
- In addition, team members must be certification eligible and will have one year to obtain required certification.
- Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Two (2) years of experience providing direct counseling care in a behavioral care setting.
Nice to have
- Experience - Two (2) years of experience providing direct counseling care in a behavioral care setting.
- Hospital or community agency setting preferred.
