About the role

  • Provides direct and indirect counseling services to patients and their families using individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Provides bio-psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, treatment planning and coordination with multidisciplinary team.
  • Remains open to clinical and peer supervision process.

Responsibilities

  • Develops an individualized treatment plan including measurable treatment goals related to patient's presenting problems.
  • Performs case management responsibilities involved with patient care.
  • Serves as team lead and operates as a resource to staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related human services field of study.
  • In addition, team members must be certification eligible and will have one year to obtain required certification.
  • Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Two (2) years of experience providing direct counseling care in a behavioral care setting.

Nice to have

  • Experience - Two (2) years of experience providing direct counseling care in a behavioral care setting.
  • Hospital or community agency setting preferred.
