About the role

The Clinical Staff Pharmacist also contributes to the generation of new knowledge that advances health and quality of life.
Will provide services to patients from birth to death.
Experience Qualifications - 1 year Pharmacy practice experience as a licensed Pharmacist or successful completion of a Post Graduate-Year 1 accredited pharmacy practice residency.

Manage medication use including compounding, preparation, selection, dispensing, storage and stocking of medications for the entire organization.
Develop and conduct medication use evaluations as needed, and report results to the relevant committees or subcommittees to implement in daily practice.
Design, implement, and lead pharmacy process improvement initiatives, including those focused on evidenced based care, safety, financial sustainability or quality improvement processes.
Performs other duties as assigned
Collaborate with pharmacy team to ensure provision of optimal patient care.
Capability to maintain positive relationships with coworkers and social awareness.

Required for All Jobs
Bachelor's Degree of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy. Required or

Medical terminology and knowledge of medication names and how to effectively run a pharmacy
Spreadsheets, Internet/E-mail, Database software, Contact Management, Electronic Medical Record
Pharmacist
KBP Required within 90 days of hire. Required
Basic Life Support
BLS Required within 90 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
ACLS Required within 90 days of hire.

Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.

Educate and train pharmacy personnel and other healthcare professionals and serve as preceptors for pharmacy students and pharmacy residents.
Address and complete provider consults proficiently and provide drug information to healthcare professionals and education to patients.
Complies with all policies, standards, mandatory training and requirements of Stormont Vail Health

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
