About the role

  • The Clinical Staff Pharmacist also contributes to the generation of new knowledge that advances health and quality of life.
  • Will provide services to patients from birth to death.
  • Experience Qualifications - 1 year Pharmacy practice experience as a licensed Pharmacist or successful completion of a Post Graduate-Year 1 accredited pharmacy practice residency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage medication use including compounding, preparation, selection, dispensing, storage and stocking of medications for the entire organization.
  • Develop and conduct medication use evaluations as needed, and report results to the relevant committees or subcommittees to implement in daily practice.
  • Design, implement, and lead pharmacy process improvement initiatives, including those focused on evidenced based care, safety, financial sustainability or quality improvement processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Collaborate with pharmacy team to ensure provision of optimal patient care.
  • Capability to maintain positive relationships with coworkers and social awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy. Required or

Skills

  • Medical terminology and knowledge of medication names and how to effectively run a pharmacy
  • Spreadsheets, Internet/E-mail, Database software, Contact Management, Electronic Medical Record
  • Pharmacist
  • KBP Required within 90 days of hire. Required
  • Basic Life Support
  • BLS Required within 90 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
  • ACLS Required within 90 days of hire.

Compensation

  • Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.
