About the role

- This position plays a critical role in delivering scalable, compliant, and high‑quality technical solutions aligned with Porch's business strategy and growth in the insurance domain.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic program planning for technical insurance initiatives, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps aligned with business strategy and insurance product goals
- Facilitate collaboration across engineering, product, design, underwriting, claims, and support teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables
- Identify program risks and dependencies early and implement mitigation and corrective action plans
- Drive transparency and accountability across all workstreams through regular reporting and leadership updates
- Partner with engineering leaders to scope work, define dependencies, and manage resource allocation
- Monitor KPIs and program metrics, conduct post‑mortems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, including at least 4 years in the insurance domain
- Strong understanding of home insurance systems, workflows, and regulatory considerations
- Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams and delivering complex technical programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize technical and business information for diverse audiences
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Proven experience working with US based business teams
Compensation
- Pay Range*: ₹26,25,000 – ₹36,75,000 INR Annually
