About the role

  • Brown Advisory's Private Client Service team is searching for career-minded and ambitious professionals with a strong passion for client service.
  • The ideal candidate is pursuing a career in the finance industry and is interested in working with complex multi-generational families and family offices.
  • Our team works in a dynamic, trust-based partnership with Portfolio Managers to serve a broad range of client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of collaboration with outside advisors, (accountants, attorneys) to deliver the highest level of client experience
  • Organize and manage client meetings from start to finish

Requirements

  • Experience with Trusts and Fiduciary-based relationships
  • Knowledge of a variety of accounting tasks involving the preparation and maintenance of financial records
  • Desire to learn and the ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities to meet client demands
  • Strong understanding of competitor and industry products and services
  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Finance or Business preferred
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience
  • CTFA preferred
  • Strong management skills and leadership experience, with the ability to train and develop junior colleagues
  • Superior client service and communication skills
  • Illustrates tact, discretion, and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strives for innovation and process improvement
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and detail oriented
  • Ability to work in Washington D.C. office location

Nice to have

Compensation

  • Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
