About the role
- Brown Advisory's Private Client Service team is searching for career-minded and ambitious professionals with a strong passion for client service.
- The ideal candidate is pursuing a career in the finance industry and is interested in working with complex multi-generational families and family offices.
- Our team works in a dynamic, trust-based partnership with Portfolio Managers to serve a broad range of client needs.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of collaboration with outside advisors, (accountants, attorneys) to deliver the highest level of client experience
- Organize and manage client meetings from start to finish
Requirements
- Experience with Trusts and Fiduciary-based relationships
- Knowledge of a variety of accounting tasks involving the preparation and maintenance of financial records
- Desire to learn and the ability to learn quickly
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities to meet client demands
- Strong understanding of competitor and industry products and services
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in Finance or Business preferred
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience
- CTFA preferred
- Strong management skills and leadership experience, with the ability to train and develop junior colleagues
- Superior client service and communication skills
- Illustrates tact, discretion, and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Strives for innovation and process improvement
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and detail oriented
- Ability to work in Washington D.C. office location
Nice to have

Compensation
