About the role
- The Sales Specialist is responsible for growing business and selling solutions to potential Axalta's customers within the market.
- The Sales Specialist works with a high sense of urgency and demonstrates ownership, commitment, and accountability to Regional and Axalta goals.
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external resources to deliver results.
- Maintain accurate account information and contact data in Salesforce (SFDC).

- These tools may be used to help manage applications, identify job-related qualifications, and assist recruiter review.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or at least 5 years of Automotive Refinish industry experience.
- 5 + years of direct-selling experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong knowledge of the collision repair, commercial transportation and industrial business environments as well as repair shop and distribution fundamentals.
- Valid driver's license required.
- An experienced sales professional with Automotive Refinish background and a strong track of successful customer support.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and time-management skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-discipline.
- Competent computer skills, proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
- This is an active opening for which we are recruiting to fill immediately.
Nice to have
- Experience selling to or managing relationships with top-tier clients preferred.
- Strong business development and prospecting skills plus the ability to acquire new clients quickly and effectively.
