About the role
- Job Description The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor will be responsible for Assembly Department personnel and Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost results while leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Candidate will work in coordination with Product Engineers, Production Planner, and Production Manager to ensure execution of tasks and milestones.

Responsibilities
- Leads continuous improvement efforts, including development of standard work, balancing of operator loading, execution of time studies and implementation of 5S initiatives.
- Leads manufacturing problem solving efforts, investigates process failures and implements corrective actions in support of all shifts.
- Implements Lean methodologies including point of use tooling, material presentation, waste elimination and process improvements.
- Ensures accuracy of inventory in production areas and supports weekly cycle counting of product.
Requirements
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of project, manufacturing or related engineering experience.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ensures Quality of product built and re-prioritizes work if product must be put on hold for quality department review/disposition.
