About the role

Responsibilities

  • The Associate Wealth Advisor is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a planning-centric team of advisors to design, build, and protect the financial dreams of clients.
  • Develop an understanding of the fundamentals of trading. Partner with the Portfolio Management team to approve & execute portfolios, trade recommendations, tax loss harvesting, etc.
  • Assist with client billing reviews and collaborate with the billing department to ensure fees are collected in a timely manner
  • Develops a mastery of Focus Partner Wealth's evidence-based investment philosophy
  • Resource for other AWAs at Focus Partners Wealth
  • Create, edit, and present financial plans through Money Guide Elite, Orion, and Holistiplan
  • Creates a personalized Investment Policy Statement and holistic investment strategy for each client
  • Ability to independently lead client communications and interactions
  • Develop an understanding of the fundamentals of trading.
  • Partner with the Portfolio Management team to approve & execute portfolios, trade recommendations, tax loss harvesting, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years financial planning experience
  • Knowledge of financial industry, financial products, and financial planning concepts
  • Some travel may be required
  • Series 65
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills; team-orientated approach
  • Clean U4

Compensation

  • The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $83,000 - $88,000.
