About the role
- In this role, you will play a key part in the efficient movement, tracking, and management of high-value materials and equipment (servers, networking gear, power and cooling systems, and other critical infrastructure components).
- You will ensure timely inbound and outbound logistics while maintaining high standards for accuracy, safety, and inventory control in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- These are hands-on contract positions ideal for candidates with strong operational logistics experience who thrive in dynamic settings and are committed to supporting SpaceXAI's aggressive deployment timelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage the receiving, inspection, documentation, and accurate recording of incoming shipments
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system updates
- Track shipments end-to-end using logistics tools and collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve delays or issues
- Support material flow to construction and operations teams, including kitting, staging, and just-in-time delivery
- Partner with procurement, facilities, and data center teams to align logistics activities with project schedules
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, improve on-time performance, and minimize risks
- Provide support during peak periods, including occasional extended hours or weekends
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or materials management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a track record of maintaining high inventory accuracy
- Experience with inventory management systems (ERP/WMS) and Microsoft Office/Google Suite (especially Excel/Sheets)
Skills
- Background supporting data center, hyperscale, manufacturing, or technology environments
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain quickly
- Familiarity with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) or advanced tracking tools
- Experience with high-value or sensitive equipment handling
- Lean/continuous improvement mindset or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in cross-functional settings
