Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment. Leverage Electro-mechanic technician support as needed
- Provide technical support to the production team, expected to be an expert packaging operator to be successful in this role
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in an organized and safe manner.

- Successful completion of the apprenticeship program may lead to opportunities for advancement as an Electromechanical Technician, with potential career growth into senior technician roles.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Ability to follow instructions and work under the guidance of Electromechanical technicians.
- Manual dexterity and ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments
- Experience with the following technologies:
- Personal Protective Equipment is to be used where required

- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Strong interest in learning about electromechanical systems.
- Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to work in a team environment.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- A desire to complete a formal apprenticeship program and gain industry certifications.
Nice to have
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or canning industries is preferred
Skills
- Rotary equipment such as a rotary press or filler
- Thermodynamics, heat transfer, or plastics processing
- Krones or Techniblend equipment
- HVAC including chillers and/or air compressors
- Demonstrates adaptability by reacting appropriately to unexpected changes in situations or circumstances
- Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Skilled in fabrication capabilities such as cutting and welding ( mig, tig or stick) preferred
- Proficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges
- Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific area of plant or machine center
- Will need to utilize personal toolbox and personal basic tools
- Safety, continuous improvement and solutions driven mindset
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
Compensation
- Base Hourly Compensation Range: $26 - $30
