About the role
- As our company scales, our financial infrastructure and strategic planning must keep pace.
- We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team for Summer 2026.
- This internship offers a deep dive into modern corporate finance.
Responsibilities
- Billing & Revenue Operations: Support usage-based billing analysis and automation initiatives. This includes exploring complex billing data, identifying discrepancies, and helping develop scalable tools to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Finance Transformation: Support process modernization initiatives, including exploring and implementing AI-enabled tools and automated finance workflows.
- How a high-growth SaaS company manages financial planning, analysis (FP&A), and corporate reporting.
- How to partner and communicate collaboratively with finance, accounting, and cross-functional business units.
- In this role, you won't just be crunching numbers in a silo-you will be an active contributor to our financial operations, helping ensure our leadership team has the insights and data they need to drive the business forward.
Requirements
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (advanced formulas, data modeling).
- Required
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed (2026) a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration (MBA), or a related quantitative field. (Recent graduates may be considered on an hourly/contract basis).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage competing priorities, take initiative, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred
- Duration: Approximately 10-12 weeks (flexible based on candidate availability and business needs).
Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (advanced formulas, data modeling).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
- Prior internship or relevant coursework in corporate finance, accounting, or data analytics.
- Familiarity with modern ERP or financial planning systems.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
- A strong interest in the enterprise software / SaaS industry.
- Program Details
- Hours: Approx 30 hours/week.
- Aerospike is the real-time database for mission-critical use cases and workloads, including machine learning, generative, and agentic AI.
- Support usage-based billing analysis and automation initiatives.
Compensation
- This is a paid internship.
- will be competitive and commensurate with experience and market rates.
- Must be able to come to Mountain View HQ 3 times per week.
