About the role

Responsibilities
- Coordinate, schedule, and manage all subcontractors and vendors.
- Identify and resolve construction-related issues as they develop.
- Supervise self-perform work and develop specialized construction methods to improve job efficiency.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost control records.
- Maintain consistent quality control in line with company standards.
- Minimum 5 years work experience as a technical specialist in construction or design related fields, with at least 2 years of managing all phases of construction work on multiple projects.
- Proven experience in interpreting contract documents (specifications, drawings, shop drawings).
- Support jobsite reporting requirements, including: daily reports, field purchase orders, weekly unit reports and updates to the two-week lookahead schedules, monthly updates to the overall construction schedule,
- Bradford Construction has an opportunity for an experienced Superintendent to support multiple projects with one of our clients, a NYC Public Agency.
Requirements
- Experience in new and modernization type construction.
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field.
- Attend all required jobsite meetings.
Nice to have
- Experience with NYC public agencies is strongly preferred.
Compensation
- $110,000 - $120,000 USD
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field.
- Additional experience will be considered in absence of a four-year degree. #LI-Onsite
