Responsibilities

  • This position manages customer service functions for the theatre box office, maintains the ticketing system, ensures accurate accounting for all receipts, and establishes box office procedures to support the profitability and overall success of the Center.
  • also include assisting in the selection of the Cultural Arts Series events, developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies, coordinating fundraising and resource development initiatives, and managing the detailed planning and execution of each production and event.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of math skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures sufficient to prepare itemized statements, bills or invoices, and record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles sufficient to identify each customer's needs, meet quality standards for services, that result in customer satisfaction.
  • Possess a high degree of analytical, organizational, and communication skills both oral and written, and be able to prioritize and schedule tasks.
  • Ability to relate on an interpersonal level with the public, vendors, students, agents, and artists.
  • Experience in the areas of fundraising, event planning, and marketing.
  • Knowledge of ticket management software.
  • Knowledge of the performing arts from an audience/consumer point of view.

Compensation

  • $21.12-$28.01/hr, $44,099-58,485 annually (FY27)
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Skill in data entry sufficient to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Knowledge of standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases sufficient to create, modify, and protect files.
  • Knowledge of math skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.
