About the role
- Monitor daily rescue schedules and coordinate logistics with kitchen leadership
- Complete scheduled food rescue pickups and meal deliveries on time
- Fulfill last-minute rescue requests as feasible
Responsibilities
- Maintain professional relationships with donating and receiving agencies
- Support CSBG and grant-related reporting requirements through accurate recordkeeping
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to be insured under IMPACT Community Action's vehicle insurance policy
- Weekend availability required, with flexibility to accommodate scheduled and occasional last-minute food rescue or delivery needs
- Maintain delivery logs, mileage records, and required documentation
- Regular driving throughout Franklin County and surrounding areas is required.
Nice to have
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) preferred, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse community partners and stakeholders
