About the role
- Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention.
- Pay range: - Hourly $44.40 - $66.60 Overlake Medical Center & Clinics has a current opening for a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team for a per diem/PRN opportunity.
- In this role, you will provides consultation and evaluation of acute care patients who receive a referral from their provider for OT services.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plan, monitor patient progress, and adapt approach and activities to maximize patient's progress.
- to monitor quality, identify opportunities to improve, and develop and implement solutions.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement process; to monitor quality, identify opportunities to improve, and develop and implement solutions.
Nice to have
- 2 years experience as an Occupational Therapist in a rehabilitation facility or general hospital is preferred.
- Able to demonstrate proficiency in using current methods in patient treatment.
- Able to evaluate patient independently and plan appropriate treatment.
- Able to work independently, in cooperation with others.
- Demonstrate professional behavior and judgment.
- Courteous and respectful toward co-workers and patients.
- Able to observe and interpret human behavior accurately.
- Able to establish constructive relationships with patients and modify treatment approach as needed.
Compensation
- Tuition reimbursement up to $10,000 per year.
