Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve minor equipment malfunctions and participate in routine maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain equipment in optimal condition
- Manage raw materials and finished products, ensuring they are properly stored, handled, and transported to maintain product integrity
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including data on machine operation, product output, and quality control checks
- Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and production supervisors, to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement
- The new hire in this role will have the potential to grow and create relationships across the organization and be recognized for demonstrated success and adherence to company PACE values.
Requirements
- Completion of pre-employment physical required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
- Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to pass respiratory fit mask test
- Ability to safely operate forklift
- Ability to read, write, and understand and effectively do basic math
- Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws
- o Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality
- Dependability with flexibility to work shifts, over-time, and weekends to support business needs
Nice to have
- Mechanical and/or technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus
