Responsibilities

  • The Oncology Lead APP serves as a key clinical partner to the Director of Oncology.
  • Prescribe and manage advanced therapeutics
  • Conduct chart audits and support quality initiatives

Requirements

  • Prior oncology experience required
  • Experience treating advanced-stage cancer patients
  • They must be experienced and comfortable:
  • Making independent clinical decisions while recognizing when collaboration is required
  • The Oncology Lead APP thrives in environments where clinical depth and emotional intelligence matter equally. They must be experienced and comfortable:
  • Delivering complex and life-altering information with clarity and empathy
  • Discussing difficult topics, including progression of disease and hospice care
  • Practicing patient-centered decision-making without personal bias
  • Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
  • Board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • Licensed or eligible for Ohio licensure
  • Minimum of two years of NP or PA experience
  • Urologic oncology experience (highly desirable)

  • Strongly Preferred

Compensation

  • Attend at least one annual conference focused on urologic oncology
