Responsibilities
- The Oncology Lead APP serves as a key clinical partner to the Director of Oncology.
- Prescribe and manage advanced therapeutics
- Conduct chart audits and support quality initiatives
Requirements
- Prior oncology experience required
- Experience treating advanced-stage cancer patients
- They must be experienced and comfortable:
- Making independent clinical decisions while recognizing when collaboration is required
- The Oncology Lead APP thrives in environments where clinical depth and emotional intelligence matter equally. They must be experienced and comfortable:
- Delivering complex and life-altering information with clarity and empathy
- Discussing difficult topics, including progression of disease and hospice care
- Practicing patient-centered decision-making without personal bias
- Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
- Board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- Licensed or eligible for Ohio licensure
- Minimum of two years of NP or PA experience
- Urologic oncology experience (highly desirable)
