About the role

  • By combining global corporate cards and banking with intuitive spend management, bill pay, and travel software, Brex enables founders and finance teams to accelerate operations, gain real-time visibility, and control spend effortlessly.
  • With a deep understanding of the business, we identify and scope the most impactful opportunities for Brex to tackle.

Responsibilities

  • What began as a project is now a line of business. You will build the Embedded API and partner platform to unlock 10x growth, accelerate partner launches, and expand the financial capabilities available across the ecosystem.
  • You will lead partner discovery and pitches, shape technical and commercial commitments, convert partner needs into reusable capabilities, and own outcomes through launch, adoption, payment volume, and revenue.
  • Own the multi-year strategy for the Embedded API and partner platform.
  • Prioritize the partner segments, workflows, and financial capabilities where Brex can win.
  • Lead partner discovery, executive pitches, solution design, and technical planning.
  • Turn partner needs into reusable APIs, tooling, and integration patterns rather than bespoke solutions.
  • Own integration speed, reliability, launch rate, payment volume, revenue, and partner expansion.
  • As Staff Product Manager, you will lead its next phase.

Requirements

  • A track record of scaling an API product, developer platform, or API-led business.

Nice to have

  • Fintech, payments, issuing, or embedded-finance experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation

  • The expected salary range for this role is $280,000 - $350,000.
  • However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity.
  • Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
  • As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!
