About the role

  • Ameresco is looking for a Site Safety Manager to work on a project we have at the Fort Sill Oklahoma project.
  • The project will be 2-3 years in length.

Responsibilities

  • Work with project supervision to create safety solutions to safety problems
  • Foster and maintains a positive safety culture for the project personnel

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years construction industry safety experience on similar projects, ability to effectively communicate safety within a project team
  • An average of at least 24 hours of formal safety training each year for the past 5 years with training for competent person status for at least the following 4 areas of competency: Excavation

Nice to have

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills.
  • Must be organized, proactive and have proven experience in OSHA Compliance.
  • Skillful communicator in both verbal and in written communication.
  • Excellent writing skills with proper grammar.
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • A great listener who can communicate professionally and in an open and positive approach.
