About the role
- Ameresco is looking for a Site Safety Manager to work on a project we have at the Fort Sill Oklahoma project.
- The project will be 2-3 years in length.
Responsibilities
- Work with project supervision to create safety solutions to safety problems
- Foster and maintains a positive safety culture for the project personnel
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years construction industry safety experience on similar projects, ability to effectively communicate safety within a project team
- An average of at least 24 hours of formal safety training each year for the past 5 years with training for competent person status for at least the following 4 areas of competency: Excavation
Nice to have
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills.
- Must be organized, proactive and have proven experience in OSHA Compliance.
- Skillful communicator in both verbal and in written communication.
- Excellent writing skills with proper grammar.
- Ability to travel frequently
- A great listener who can communicate professionally and in an open and positive approach.
