About the role

The job will entail preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment and facilities.
This position will be working with PLC controlled equipment, pneumatic power and electricity with voltages of up to 480 volts.
Always represent the company in a positive and supportive manner.

Under general supervision perform skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance activities including patching and painting walls, patching floors, replacing lights, repair racking, office furniture moves, and setups and other facilities related tasks.
Under general supervision perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities to include minor troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment.
Document all work worker activities including labor, parts and inventory used and closing the work order to provide documented records of the maintenance performed
Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, and others.

Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
Experience working effectively under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
Ability to work with high and low voltage, AC and DC
Experience in using Microsoft Outlook and Word programs
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
2-4 years' experience with facility maintenance in a medium to large distribution center or manufacturing operation.
2-4 years' experience working around conveyors, pneumatics, AC/DC motor skills and industrial electrical systems.
