About the role

This position is a non-tenure-track, 10-month renewable appointment.
The start date for this position is August 1, 2026.
Experience teaching applied statistics, data analysis, and sport analytics within sport science or human performance contexts is especially valued.

FOR POSITION (required)
Master's degree in Statistics, Sports Analytics, Sport Science, or field related to the position
Successful teaching experience in at least one of the following content areas: statistics, sport science/sport analytics, athlete monitoring and data management
Experience with statistical software and data analysis tools relevant to sport science (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, or similar).
Demonstrates ability to work well and ethically with colleagues

Relevant human performance certifications including the CSCS, CPSS, CSCC, USAW Level 1, FMS Level 1, etc.
Diverse practical (hands-on) experience working in human performance with various athletic entities and sports teams
Experience working with novel technology in human performance and athlete monitoring
Evidence of knowledge or experience in incorporating technology into instructional practices
Demonstrates knowledge of evidence-based teaching practices
Preferred candidates will hold an advanced degree in statistics, sport analytics, sport science, or a closely related field, and demonstrate a strong record of teaching at the university level.
