About the role

  • The terminal will be located on a 330-acre parcel within the Tradepoint Atlantic Development in Sparrows Point, MD.
  • The project will generate over 8,000 jobs within the region once operational and will increase the container handling capacity in the Port of Baltimore by 70%, elevating the Port into the top tier of East Coast US Ports.
  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Development Phase: Oversee delivery and commissioning of new equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish or implement parts storage and inventory tracking system consistent with TiL best practices.
  • Builds up and maintains preventive and predictive maintenance schedule with detailed work instructions for all equipment to reduce damages and downtime on all machinery.
  • Maintains inventory to ensure that inventory levels are minimized while still ensuring that necessary and anticipated spare parts are always immediately available.
  • Proactively undertakes maintenance planning for corrective work, maintains up-to-date information and knowledge on equipment.
  • Improves and modifies equipment design, in order to improve safety, reliability, efficiency, or life cycle cost.
