About the role
- Position Purpose: The Non-CDL Driver for Heritage Pool is responsible for operating a vehicle for transporting goods, products, or materials to various destinations without the need for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Direct Manager Direct Reports: This position will report directly to the Logistics Manager or Transportation Supervisor and has no direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre and post vehicle inspections and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate logs of all transport and vehicle maintenance.
- Builds effective teams within the department.
- Collaborates with peers and superiors for optimized work processes
- Efficiently optimizes work processes for improved productivity
- Maintains a high level of customer focus
- Proven ability to drive results
Requirements
- Familiarity with using navigation systems.
- Proficiency in English required for communication regarding safety.
- Candidates must be physically fit and able to frequently lift up to 50lbs.
- Drivers will work in a variety of weather conditions and must be comfortable driving in these conditions.
- Load and unload vehicle as required.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in driving or logistics preferred.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- A vocational or technical degree in transportation or related field is preferred.
- Minimum Years Of Work Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant driving experience
- No particular certifications required, but certifications in First Aid, CPR, or Safety Training would be advantageous.
- Directs work effectively.
Compensation
- The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $22.88 per hour.
