  • University of the Cumberlands is seeking a core faculty member to join the experienced faculty in the hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.

Requirements

  • Education
  • Licensure
  • Must possess a current unencumbered license to practice physical therapy in Kentucky or be eligible to secure license or compact privilege to practice physical therapy in Kentucky within 90 days of employment start.

Nice to have

  • Academic Doctorate from a regionally accredited institution with demonstrated clinical expertise and teaching experience (Ph.D., EdD, DSc or equivalent)
  • Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy Degree (DPT) with demonstrated clinical expertise, teaching experience, and current clinical specialist certification through ABPTS.
  • Interest in and ability to use online instructional technologies;
  • Ability to travel for face-to-face teaching in on-campus lab immersions and required campus events;

Skills

  • Possess strong organizational, communication, decision-making, teamwork, interpersonal, technological, and personal leadership skills.
