About the role

  • Alliance is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to join our Cumberland County Crisis Response (CCCR) Mobile Outreach team.
  • In this key role, you'll be at the center of our crisis response system- coordinating incoming calls, supporting people in real time, and helping ensure the right response happens at the right moment.

Responsibilities

  • As a Dispatch Coordinator, you'll balance coordination, crisis support, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Provide real-time phone support to individuals, families, and community providers awaiting assessment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in crisis or human services work
  • Ability to obtain MHRT/CSP certification within 30 days (training provided)
  • Ability to think critically, prioritize, and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team environment with shifting priorities

Nice to have

  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with DSM and crisis assessment
  • Strong technical skills (electronic records, Microsoft Office, email systems)
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
  • Commitment to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care
  • Successful completion of required background checks
  • Valid driver's license for occasional local travel
