About the role

  • A Virtuous Data Migration Engineer will be in charge of extracting, mapping, formatting, and importing client data from legacy systems to Virtuous for our biggest and most sophisticated nonprofit customers.
  • Common legacy systems include but are not limited to Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, eTapestry, Salesforce, DonorPerfect, etc.
  • They must understand data structure, determine data relationships and become a Virtuous expert to properly map data into the most strategic areas within Virtuous.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our internal team on data migration strategy, tooling, and questions
  • Deep knowledge & understanding of database design, setup, and maintenance

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working in Data Migration and/or a SQL / dbt environment
  • Exceptional time management, organization, and the ability to work with a project manager to set and meet deadlines is a necessity.
