About the role

Responsibilities
- Drive the development of new synthetic methods and processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Performs preliminary and in-process analytical work on reactions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and explore new research opportunities.
Skills
- PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field required. A focus in synthetic chemistry preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of chemical principles and reaction mechanisms.
- Comfort and familiarity with handling air-sensitive and pyrophoric materials ( i.e. using Schlenk lines and glove boxes)
- Experience with laboratory techniques, analytical instruments, and statistical analysis.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. May require occasional travel for conferences, meetings, and collaborative projects.
