Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and expand pharmacist-led clinical programs that improve medication management and patient outcomes.
- Establish and maintain collaborative practice agreements (CPAs) with providers to support evidence-based patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and clinical leadership to integrate pharmacy services into patient care delivery models.
- Manage staffing models, scheduling, workload distribution, and resource allocation to meet operational and clinical objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity metrics, and service outcomes to drive operational excellence.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and operational resources in support of organizational goals.
- Support business planning and growth strategies for ambulatory pharmacy services.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, medication safety, and care quality metrics.
- Partner with organizational leadership to achieve quality, safety, and regulatory objectives.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing pharmacy professionals and support staff.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive clinical pharmacy experience, including significant experience in ambulatory care practice.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to develop and manage clinical pharmacy services, lead interdisciplinary teams, and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Compensation
- $65.54 - $98.31 per hour, depending on experience
