About the role

  • We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a fully remote, work-from-home basis.
  • The ideal candidate brings previous AR experience, sharp attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across departments to resolve invoicing and collection issues
  • Maintain a strict level of confidentiality at all times

Requirements

  • High proficiency with Google Sheets and MS Excel
  • If you enjoy a change of scenery a couple of times a week, you'll fit right in.

Nice to have

  • Review, post, and send client invoices
  • Analyze customer aging reports and proactively reach out to clients with open AR balances
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all customer inquiries
  • Apply payments and credits accurately and on time, and handle cheque deposits
  • Serve as backup for other accounting team members during vacations
  • Spot and recommend improvements to internal processes
  • Pick up and distribute mail from our Surrey PO box and downtown Vancouver office (approximately twice a week, see "The Driving Part" below)
  • Take on other projects and tasks as assigned by the Controller

Compensation

  • $50,000 - $55,000 CAD/year
