About the role
- Ensures regulatory compliance, animal welfare, and seamless study execution through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Source and procure NHPs from domestic and international suppliers
- Forecast supply and mitigate procurement risks
Responsibilities
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, pricing, and performance
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory readiness
- Partner with veterinary, scientific, and operational teams
- Maintain procurement records, reporting, and dashboards
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
Requirements
- Well-developed interpersonal skills are required.
- Personal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information.
- Must be self-directed, motivated, and have a willingness to take the initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.
Nice to have
- Minimum 5+ years in procurement, inventory, or preclinical operations
- experience with laboratory animals preferred.
- Relevant industry experience a plus.
Skills
- Ability to write advanced reports and correspondence.
Compensation
- The salary range estimated for this position is $105,000 - $150,000.
