About the role

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Passionate about early childhood children and helping them learn about Jesus.
  • Ensures all Early Childhood classrooms are appropriately staffed for all gatherings, special events, and as requested.
  • Check in with Early Childhood classrooms prior to worship gatherings and assist/teach classroom lessons as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develops Victory Church culture of Early Childhood Ministry.
  • Recruits and develops Early Childhood volunteer leaders and teams.
  • Builds and maintains meaningful relationships with parents, families, and children, offering consistent care, communication, and support that extends beyond weekly gatherings.
  • Greets parents and children as they enter the VKids building.
  • Implements and champions Victory Church's Next Gen strategy within Early Childhood, ensuring existing curriculum and resources are executed with consistency, clarity, and excellence across volunteers.
  • Maintains departmental budgets.
  • Maintains correct information in Church databases (i.e., Planning Center).
  • We can only lead someone to a place that He has led us to first.
  • Leadership - A leader effectively influences the actions and opinions of others, motivating them to perform well.
  • They are able to manage competing demands and deal with frequent changes or unexpected events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
