About the role
- Intelligent Controls & Automation (ICA) Technician
- Participat ing in initiatives to identify and eliminate inefficiencies within technology zones
- Act ing as a Subject Matter Expert, guiding the development and deployment of proven operational standards
Responsibilities
- Support ing escalation efforts for chronic losses and work ing collaboratively with the team to build continuous improvement practices
- from Day1; you will have ownership for your work plan from the beginning and will have important projects and responsibilities to deliver
Requirements
- Ability to flex, extend, and rotate neck
- The ability to work at heights & climb stairs/ladders/platforms, etc., on and around equipment.
- The ability to meet the requirements of safe operation and personal safety, including wearing PPE and the ability to respond appropriately to various visual and audible alarms and signals
- The ability to enter and work in enclosed areas.
- The ability to work in extreme temperatures both hot and cold, generally in warehouse conditions including wide variances in temperature, dust and dirt.
- Ability to position & move cases of product, bottles, connect hoses, handle glass flasks and bottles, etc. (may include grasping)
Nice to have
- a technical degree/certification in electrical or electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
Skills
- They have electrical and controls skills to successfully troubleshoot problems and proactively improve production systems.
