About the role

  • The team operates on the private side, working alongside client coverage teams in Investment Banking, and product teams such as Strategic Equity, Debt Capital Markets and Leveraged Finance.
  • Example products / transactions executed by ECM include Initial Public Offerings, Follow-on offerings, Block Sales, At-the-market programs and private placements.
  • Able to navigate, adapt and thrive in a constantly changing/evolving global bank Expectations It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role work in person in the New York, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Support origination efforts, evaluation of new opportunities, and execution of deals, working on a broad scope of assignments for corporate clients in a global firm environment
  • Act as a key execution resource working closely with internal partners to create client deliverables and respond to ad-hoc client requests for maximum impact
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of debt markets, Bio-Pharmaceutical sector financing activity and client developments
  • Employee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagement

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, life sciences is preferred (advanced degree preferred)

Skills

  • Significant network and experience within the arena with extensive, product and market knowledge
  • Experience in market trend interpretation
  • SIE, Series 79, 63 licensing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Dynamic, agile, highly motivated. Able to navigate, adapt and thrive in a constantly changing/evolving global bank

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this position in New York City is $300,000.
  • Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
